"Cubescapade"

Intro

Cubescapade is an adventure game with a top-down perspective with numerous obstacles where the player will have to put their agility to the test and use their intuition to take advantage of the various mechanics. 

• Players: 1

• Average Game Duration: Between 5 and 15 minutes.

• Objective: The game’s objective is to open and reach the exit door of each level by collecting all the available coins to be able to progress to the next level. Those who are able to open and reach the exit from the last level, win the game.

Mechanics

Movement and Actions

• The player moves with the cursor keys: Up, Down, Left, and Right.
• The player has three lives at the start of each level. These lives allow them to collide with up to two obstacles per level and still continue progressing, otherwise the level restarts.

Obstacles

• Dangerous obstacles are colored either red or brown.
• If you collide with one, you lose one life.

Benefits

• Coins are visually distinctive items that are bright orange colored and have a constant rotation.
  These coins allow the player to open (unlock) the exit door of each level.
  For that to happen, it’s necessary to collect all the coins in each level.

• Green surfaces are usually mechanics where the player is pushed very fast in predetermined direction.
